I’m about to start taking tennis lessons I have never played tennis before so i was wondering what kind of racket should I get ? should I just get one at my local walmart or sure I go to a sport store? and also could I wear any kind of sneaker to play?

You can learn on a cheap racket but if you do want to continue, you should find a good racket that will suite your game. You also need tennis shoe. Something around 35-70 will do.

which one is better and why for a 11 yr old boy who has played tennis for 2.5 years?

well it really depends on the boy’s style of play. I’ve learnt in the past its not the quality of the racquet it’s how good you are with it. I recommend that you demo them both and see which one best suits him. The nblades for an all round game style play and the ntour2 is mostly for control so really its up to you!

I have a 2004 silver jeep grand cherokee, it has tinted windows. I want to add a sick sound system but i am not sure how much i am willing to spend. I have plenty of room in the back for subs.

Depends on your budget for sub stage. Also, what kind of music you listen to.

The previous owner of my RV did a sloppy job and got caulking all over the edge of the tub surround and it looks kinda bad. Any ideas to get it off without damaging the tub surround would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on what your tub is made of, you can use a razor blade. If not, get a heavy duty scub brush and vigorously scrubbing the caulk will cause it to separate from the tub. You can then peal a lot of it off with your fingers, and any leftover peices can be removed with caulk remover – which you can find at Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.

I just got a new home theater system, an LG LHT854. The wire leading to one of the rear speakers is a bit short. It disconnects at both ends. I was wondering if I can just buy any standard speaker wire of the same gauge and connect it instead? What will this do to the sound quality, etc.? If this is bad, what else might you suggest for me to get the wire to the rear speaker discretely without having to go spend a bunch of money?

Any speaker wire would work the guage doesn’t matter for the small rear speakers guage only makes a difference if you have big speakers. Get long speaker cables any guage and run it along the edges of the room and if you have it hanging on the wall get some thumb tacks and pin the wires straight downwards towards the floor and around the edges. They sell plastic wire covers for the walls for cheap like 10 bucks for a set at stores like Wal Mart and they have them in multiple colors and lengths

When the speakers are on, you can hear the radio, but its not connected to any radio reciever, just the DVD player and the subwoofer, this is a Coby home theater system, with dvd player, a sub and two speakers. It works well, just has the radio background which is annoying. I’ve looked for answers but cannot find anything exactly with what I need. Can anybody help me?

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and I need to change out my front door speakers and I can’t figure out how to take off the covers to get to the speakers without breaking them. I also need to know how to take off the dash covers for the 3" speakers as well. Any legitimate information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The speaker grilles are part of the door panel. The entire door panel needs to come off.

For the dash, they simply pop out. A plastic trim tool is helpful in prying up one edge without marring it.

I’m looking into a home theatre system, and have been looking for some type of system that makes it where i dont have to have stacks of dvds. I know there’s apple tv and many others, but the memory of those are limited. i want something more, similar to the ones on mtv cribs that can hold a ton of music and movies. Do you know the name of the makers of these systems? Thanks!

Well of course most of those systems are all custom designed. But what your looking for there are a number of options that are available separately that can be used in any ones systems.

Most of these are not cheap though, I will give you another option at then end that if you are looking to do more on a budget maybe something for you to look into.

Escient: makes one of the more affordable media servers. It works pretty well not to difficult to setup, as will all of them they do require internet access to download cover art and update media information..

Kaleidescape: is making the best system right now but is very expensive. Its a amazing system

The other two lower price options are Sony and a few others make mulit disc cd and dvd players that you just incorporate into your system.

Lastly you can build a custom media server (if your good at building pc’s or know someone that is)
You can build it with as much storage are you would need and add to it as your library increases, everything is stored on hard drives no need to handle dvd’s or cd’s again once they are burned onto your media server. They quality of playback is determined by the quality of video card you use so if you are doing 1080p you will need a very good video card so keep that in mind.

Ok well i just got a sony DAV-170 surround sound system. I cant get the surround sound to come in with the my TV or my xbox 360. Now i have and HDMI cable going from my xbox to the TV for the picture and then i got a audio coax cable to run from my TV to to the surround sound but only the sub and the from speakers are working. Is it because i shoulkd have another HDMI cable going from the TV to the surround sound?

Connect optical cable directly from Xbox to sound system for surround sound if your sound system has one.
