I own a dell dimension 3000 and my speakers have been working fine until about last week. So, I went out and bought brand new speakers and it is still not working. We plugged it in to every plug but still no cigar. Please tell me how I can fix it. By the way, my computer works fine. Please help!
on dells website they have a driver finder so you can find the drivers for your computer or the cd that came with it has drivers.

What brand in Computer Speakers would be the best to buy?
I know Bose is the ultimate best brand, but I don’t want to spend two months worth of rent on Bose computer speakers. I would like to get a 4 or 5 piece set, but don’t know what a good-quality, long-lasting brand is that is at a decent price.
Just for the record BOSE is not the best in speakers…
Better sound thru marketing.
There are several ways to go about this and a depending on exactly how you want to use it will depend on what to get.
Some more detail on what you already have will help to make a recommendation. You could with the right sound card use a HTIB or receiver separates etc..
But when picking out a speaker system you should listen to them first.
That said the best I have ever heard (specifically designed as a PC set) was the klipsch pro media set ups.
But for bang for buck, Logitech and creative make decent low cost systems, but don’t expect a miracle in sound.
I have computer speakers that I want to connect to my computer and a Wii. How do I do it?
Here’s the deal: I have a set of computer speakers that I want to play audio from both my computer and the Wii. Ideally, I would want a 3.5mm single female connector to double male connector cable. I can’t find it on the market anywhere. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks!
The Wii probably via USB and the speakers (powered?) to the line output on the sound card of the comp. ~

What computer speakers are right for me?
I’m trying to buy some computer speakers since my MacBook Pro is kinda weak even with the volume maxed. Not sure what i should be looking for. I want speakers that are loud but don’t hurt the sound by making it scratchy or muffled. All i need them for is to listen to music or watch videos but i really like to make myself deaf. Any tips or suggestions for some good, reliable speakers in the 100-150$ price range?
I got the Edifier E3350 not too long ago. Great sound, nice look, not too much on the $ side of things. Here’s a review:
