I want a better sound system for my stock 2009 convertible mustang. The stock sound system is crap.
I wanna know what to buy to make it sound better and maybe add a little bass but I don’t need a 12 or anything settin off car alarms just a little kick. I don’t wanna spend too much money, but I just want something easy to put in. Help?

I have a sound system that is currently connected to my PC vis 3 coloured plugs (5.1 surround). However i also use the same sound system with my PS3 etc via the monitor. For this i need an adapter to a 3.5mm jack, which i have. I do not want to keep messing around with wires to swap between the monitor input and PC input, is there any cables/splitters available to sort my problem?
You’ll need something like this, but I’m not sure if this specific box has the connections you need. If you click on "see all 2 customer images" it will show you the connections on the back.

If that doesn’t work for you, search "A/V switcher" or "A/V source selector" and you should be able to find one with the correct connections.
Once you have one of these connected, you just press a button to switch from one source to another.
I have a 2006 Philips HTS3440/37 Surround Sound System and DVD Player. I am going to buy a PS3 and want to know how to connect my sound system to the PS3. My DVD player doesn’t have an HDMI output. Some one please help me!!!
to connect the ps3 to a sound system you need one with either hdmi , optical or standard av inputs , you can’t connect a dvd player to a ps3 , you connect to the tv , a ps3 doesn’t have inputs ( except for ethernet cable for the internet ) – it only outputs its audio and video to a tv and/or sound system .
basically you use either hdmi or av cables ( standard or component ) to the tv and then you can also connect to a sound system — example , you use component to tv , you can use a second output ( hdmi or optical ) to a sound system – example 2 – you use hdmi to tv , now you have the av output free to connect to the stereo

i have a yamaha surround sound system and i am using a fiber optic cable and 16 gauge wire. it sounds pretty good but i know there are ways to tune it for better sound quality throughout the room. i don’t want to pay all the money for someone to do it for me so does anyone have any easy tips. thanks.
Use the automatic audio calibration feature if your receiver has it. Otherwise, you can buy an inexpensive sound meter from Radio Shack, and then play the receiver’s test tones to adjust the speakers to the same level (the receiver has settings to control the volume level of each speaker).
You could also buy a meter and a home theater tuning disc. The one from "Sound and Vision" is a bit dated, but it will walk you through the audio tuning steps very easily. See the links below for more information.
I am considering buying a Bose Companion 5 Sound System but I know there has to be something even better on the market.
logitech Z-5500 has been on top for a good while now.. not sure if theres anything out there that has beaten it yet.. but if something has. most likly its from Logitech lol
just make sure u have a reallly good sound card to bring out the full potential of a 5.1 system

LYRICS:
I
yeah I’m coming home again
to you
cuz you’re my only friend
I’ll lean into the spirits hands
believe
in trinity again
like it’ll never end
black stars
big night
you were runnin’ fast
all of your life
i know that feelin’
i know it ain’t easy
(no matter if u try)
livin’ for just one day
or savin’ up the holy grace
never be ashamed
to call his name
trinity’s a friend
(if you look at me now, through your dying eyes, and tell me your faith, maybe just survives… I’ll show you mine….)

I just installed my new operating system and i plugged in a philips sound system with speakers!
When i try to go to the volume control it says that there is no sound mixer installed what do I do?
Vadim…
You need to install your system sound driver.
If you have an installation CD for your computer, the driver should be there. If not…
Get your computer model and go to the manufacturer web site and search for drivers, sound driver among them, download it and install it, your problem should be solved. If you have a cloned computer, find out what motherboard you have and with that info search (google) it.
Good Luck!!
