I have a 2001 Boxster with zero upgrades on it. Love the car, but HATE the sound system. I’ve had the car for about 6 months now and I can no longer stand the system. I’m looking to upgrade the stereo system, and I really am interested in what Bose has to offer. How much would a Bose be, by close approximation? And if not Bose, what do you suggest?
All the feedback is greatly appreciated!

I have a 1997 Ford Explorer and I want to buy a sound system with loud bass and everything. What can I buy without going overboard on the price. I also don’t want to change the dashoard and I do have a 6 disc changer inside the center arm rest console. Would I be able to put the controller there? Thanks!
how loud u want to go?
4 ch. amp to power 2 new front speakers (or use 1 channel of the amp) and a sub in a slim box made for trucks… wedge box ported and tuned to your sub. go with a 10 at least.

I have a somewhat old Monster surround sound system that has an RCA interface. I am about to move away to college, and would like to find a way to make it work with my desktop, but of course, my computer doesn’t put out RCA, but instead has the standard 3.5mm audio output sound card. what is the best way to make my sound system usable with my desktop without sacrificing any sound quality or directional sound?
Get a Male 3.5mm to Male RCA cable.(available at walmart ) You will still get stereo sound or any other analog signal (i.e.prologic II) and Will not notice a difference in sound quality. If the computer is more than 50′ away from where the receiver is i would suggest a higher quality cable due to signal loss, but for the cost of cable you could just get a different sound card with a digital output. Monoprice.com best pricing on everything you are looking for. p.s i did the same exact thing in college worked great for partys even at LOUD volume

LCD Soundsystem return with a new single ‘Someone Great’ on October 22nd on DFA/EMI Records taken from the massively acclaimed and already touted by many as an album of the year ‘Sound Of Silver’ . With its emotive refrain and rhythmic precision ‘Someone Great’ was recognized critically as an album standout and has become a key part of their live set. Its release is backed by a spectacular array of new and exclusive mixes of other S.O.S standouts in the form Soulwax (“Get Innocuous”), Carl Craig (“Sound of Silver”), Sorcerer (“Us v Them”) and Gucci Sound System (“Time to Get Away”). Award winning Artist/filmmaker Doug Aitken is currently shooting an experimental short film for “Someone Great.” Doug Aitken’s work has been exhibited extensively at museums and festivals throughout Europe and the U.S. His most recent work, “Sleepwalkers,” was commissioned by MoMA.

I have a Scion TC and it doesn’t have that bad of a stock sound system. However I like my music really loud a lot of the time and when I turn it up at high volumes it sometimes doesn’t sound the best. I am wondering what I can do to make it sound better?
I listen to rock mostly and I don’t care for a lot of base, but maybe just a tiny bit would be okay. What do you suggest and what are some good brands?
Thank you!
Baby love, i checked your sizes-
Start with a new Head Stereo.
your front speakers are 6.5"

Stay away from Sony and those other crap brands. if you want bang, you go with big names. Pioneer.JL Audio. ETC. these ones I linked you have a 3 year warranty. Ebay is your friend- these are much cheaper on Ebay (in the same condition) than they would be at best buy or similar.
I wouldn’t bother with the rear speakers, I really wouldn’t.
