I still have the factory sound system installed in my car. I am looking to get new speakers, along with an amplifier and sub woofers Both front and rear speakers are 6×8". I have been looking at the kenwood party pack for subs, which gives two 12" subs and a 350W amp. So now I am trying to figure out which type of speakers offer very good quality sound. Also, should i get another amp to power those?
If you were to get first or second tier MBquart speakers, you wouldn’t need a subwoofer in a space as tiny as a car interior.

My high school is for the sciences, and we are searching for a good guest speaker. Some of the guest speakers requested for too much money. What would be a good choice for the guest speaker. It’d be helpful if the guest speaker was somebody contact-able.Not somebody like Beyonce.
See if a professor who teaches science at a local university is available./

Ok, i plugged in headphones into my laptop and i can still hear music through the speaker. How can i silent the speakers and just hear the music through my headphones? The music is coming out from the speakers and headphones but i just want to listen to the music with the headphones. How do i do this? How do i silent the speakers?
Hello!
If that’s not an feature I would say its a bug. Normally speakers turn off automatically when headphones are plugged in. Check in CONTROL PANEL whether there is a ‘Sound option’ from your laptop-software.
And as in many cases I see here: Its always important to state OS and BRAND of PC.
Good luck!
I just bought a 26" sharp lcd hdtv. The picture is fine, but the speakers are very disappointing. the tv does have a digital output audio. what kind of external speakers/woofers are compatible with this tv? what components will be needed? i reckon a conventional computer speaker wouldn’t work.
In order to use the digital audio output, you’ll need a Dolby receiver, which means you’ll need a full-blown Home Theater kit. You can get these relatively cheaply these days, but you get what you pay for. If the TV is a small one for a bedroom, you might do better to take the ANALOG audio output and run that into a set of PC speakers with subwoofer.
Nathan Seidle, the CEO of SparkFun Electronics visits Google in Mountain View.
SparkFun Electronics was founded in 2003 by Nathan Seidle. Its first products were Olimex printed circuit boards. The name ‘SparkFun’ came about because one of the founders of SparkFun was testing a development board, and sparks flew out; Fun was chosen because the company’s self-stated aim is to educate people about electronics.
On Jan 7, 2010 SparkFun gave away $100,000 worth of merchandise during “SparkFun Free Day”, where each customer had a chance to get $100 worth of free items. This popular event lasted 1 hour 44 minutes and 47 seconds.

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and I need to change out my front door speakers and I can’t figure out how to take off the covers to get to the speakers without breaking them. I also need to know how to take off the dash covers for the 3" speakers as well. Any legitimate information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The speaker grilles are part of the door panel. The entire door panel needs to come off.
For the dash, they simply pop out. A plastic trim tool is helpful in prying up one edge without marring it.
If you’re a visual person, have pictures:

I have four speakers in my basement. However i would like to move them around without dragging all the wires with me. I have a tv set up in one part of my basement that is equipped with a Yamaha receiver that connects 4 different speakers. But i want to every now and then move those speakers over to the big part of the basement (without moving the receiver and wires with me) for when i have parties and what not. I would still be able to control the receiver with remote from the distance. I am hoping there is something i could connect to the speakers. So, what can i do?
You can make any speakers wireless with a kit for about $100.00. I’ve never tried, but here is a link with the product and user reviews:
