I have a wilson tennis racket and I just want to know what you think is the best overgrip. I’ve hear that Tournogrip is the best overgrip, but sometimes I also hear people say that Wilson brand overgrip is the best.
Can you guys also tell me how the overgrip feels like (tacky, sticky, etc.)?
I’ve always preferred a tacky overgrip, so I used gamma grip 2 wraps for years. I tried the Wilson Pro overgrip and found them to be excellent. The wrap had great tack, but not too much and it got tackier with moisture.
I’ve personally never liked the TournaGrip but that puts me in the minority. The suedelike feel was just not to my liking and I didn’t particularly care for the feel of the grip when it got wet. It just felt soggy and soft.

Well they are all pretty much the same. Some are just priced higher then others. A grip feels kinda sticky but not really tacky. Then it wears off and you get a smooth grips. When it starts to wear down is when you need a new grip.

hello. I ‘had’ a wilson tennis racket in my beginning. ‘overgrip’ is term i do know know of. i ‘learned’ my game by practice practice practicing, and watching and feeling the result I had gained. to place myself, I grew up in the Riggs-King battle of the sexes era, and thought Bjorn Borg a great player and person. Overgrip?

Just because you own a Wilson racket does not mean a Wilson overgrip needs to be used
I think it’s just a matter of preference really. I’ve use Prince MicroTac something or others and just about every Head overgrip.
I’m a big fan of a grip that just absorbs, is not too tacky, and is thin. That is why if I use anything I tend to use the Head Agassi Pro Grip.
