I was just to a demo. It’s not really my racket of choice. I’ll be in California next week for another tournament. I’m hoping to make it to the finals! If not, then I’ll just have to re-group and for the next tournament.

But yeah, the racquet is head heavy and has a large sweet spot for players that might miss time the ball. It allows them a little margin of error if they happen to mis-hit the ball.

Seriously, the Wilson T2000 has all the characteristics to take advantage of your huge muscles. When you rip the ball with the T2000 it will accelerate through the opponents racquet. Just relax and let it rip! Play your game!

Thank you for the advice. Can you tell me what characteristics about the T2000 make it good for me? Just in case I want to look for similar characteristics in a modern racket.

  18. bblosser Says:

    If you are real …
If you are real muscular you should use the old Wilson T2000 racquet. It is the one that Jimmy Connors used back in his prime. It’s a real piece of work! With your bulging muscles you should be able to hit the heavy moon! Let it rip!

  19. dasdaka Says:

that is not true, but u should have chosen a racquet that you would like to stick with for at least a few years, some do change, but they are few

I was wondering if someone could help me choose the right racket. I’m a heavy gym user who started playing tennis as a cardio exercise. I’ve become totally addicted though and am starting to hit the ball very well. So what’s the best racket for a muscular person who likes to hit hard serves and baseline shots?
